== Building System ==

Each structure has an item, usually a sign or a postbox, that can be Interacted with to show the building's requirements and the area in which those items must be placed (or already exist). When you receive a quest to create a new building, you'll receive this item from the quest-giver.

When you have the sign (or postbox), pick a spot that seems convenient and has plenty of room, and place it. (Can building areas overlap? Can you place new shops and houses anywhere on the island?) If you want to know what area it covers, check the box at the bottom of its display. Don't worry if you decide you want to move or turn it -- just hammer it, and it will drop itself to be picked back up and placed once more.

Once the area highlighted is what you want (there doesn't seem to be a way to change its size or relationship to the sign), you can start placing the required items. It's fine to add more things, but the listed things must be supplied. A roof does not have to cover every block in the designated area. (How much does it have to cover? How high does it have to be to be considered a roof?)

When the requirements are met, a message will appear.

It's easiest to build this around existing water. The Dry Sponge sold by Leif may be a way of moving water blocks.

Riah provides these blueprints. There are some spare Barrels on your farm; just Hammer one and use it.

The Bait Box requires 2x Rhino Beetle. These can be found on the sides of trees and captured with the Bug Net. The other materials can be crafted or bought from Aliza.

This is a quest to build up Leif's store to Tier 3. To see the requirements, Interact with the existing store sign and use the yellow right-arrow to page over to Tier 3.

Leif gives the quest, but it may require talking to Maximilian first.

You seem to need to have completed the Barn, and to have talked to Maximilian, who mentions that his responses to Leif's tree-growing requests seem to keep going astray. When you talk to Leif, he'll ask you to help him expand his shop to handle the post.
